Vision & Purpose

What is the Global Generosity Alliance?

The Global Generosity Alliance (GGA) is a collective impact alliance of Kingdom-minded organizations united around one mission: advancing the Great Commission through biblical generosity. GGA is not a fundraising tool — it is a prayer-rooted, collaborative framework for long-term Kingdom transformation.

Why does GGA exist?

[Followers of Jesus often lack a deep understanding of biblical generosity. This creates a discipleship gap — and ultimately, slows the fulfillment of the Great Commission. GGA exists to help close this gap by uniting Kingdom-minded organizations around a shared vision: generous disciples, mobilized local communities, and the advancement of the Great Commission.]

What does GGA mean by "biblical generosity"?

[Biblical generosity is the faithful practice and promotion of Jesus' teachings on possessions, lifestyle, and giving. It is not merely the transfer of money — it is a discipleship outcome that shapes how followers of Jesus hold what God has entrusted to them.]

What is GGA's vision for the future?

We envision a global movement of generous disciples, where local communities are mobilized to advance the Great Commission. When generosity is fully unleashed, Kingdom resources multiply, discipleship deepens, and local communities thrive with reduced dependency on foreign funding.

Approach & Methodology

What is Collective Impact and why does GGA use it?

Collective Impact is a globally proven framework for collaborative transformation. It brings together organizations around a common agenda, shared measurement, mutually reinforcing activities, continuous communication, and dedicated backbone support. GGA applies this model — anchored in prayer and theological conviction — to address biblical generosity as a long-horizon discipleship challenge that no single organization can solve alone.

What are the Six Essentials of Collective Impact?

The Six Essentials are: Foundational Prayer, Common Agenda, Shared Measurement, Open & Continuous Communication, Mutually Reinforcing Activities, and Backbone Support. Together they form the operational framework that keeps the alliance aligned, accountable, and moving forward over the long term. You can read each one in depth on our Our Approach page.

Is GGA a fundraising organization?

No. GGA is not a fundraising tool, a one-size-fits-all program, or a short-term campaign. It is a prayer-rooted, collaborative framework that unites diverse organizations for long-term Kingdom transformation through biblical generosity.

How does GGA measure success?

GGA measures success through shared measurement systems that track progress toward the mission, ensure accountability across partners, and surface alignment gaps early. Measurement is not an annual review but an ongoing rhythm that keeps the alliance from drifting.

Principles & Values

What values guide GGA's work?

GGA is guided by seven values: Prayer, Trust, Generosity, Accountability, Unity, Excellence, and Love. These aren't aspirational labels — they shape every decision the alliance makes. You can read each value in depth on our About page.

What does GGA mean by "prayer is the strategy"?

[Prayer is not the prelude to the work — it is the work. Every initiative within the alliance begins, continues, and ends in prayer. We believe the outcome of this movement belongs to God, and our role is faithful obedience in alignment with His will.]

How does GGA handle disagreement between partners?

[Unity is one of GGA's core values: we stay at the table. Disagreement doesn't mean disengagement. The alliance is built on trust, ongoing communication, and the shared commitment to remaining in relationship even when the work is hard.]

Ways to Engage

How can my organization partner with GGA?

The simplest first step is a conversation. Reach out via our Contact page and one of our representatives will get back to you to explore alignment, fit, and what collaboration could look like for your context.

Who is GGA looking to partner with?

Potential partners include Kingdom-minded leaders, churches, ministries, disciple-makers, and catalytic investors who share the vision of advancing the Great Commission through biblical generosity. The alliance is currently four founding organizations, but it is not closed.

I'm not in a position to partner — how else can I support the movement?

Three other pathways are open to anyone aligned with the vision: pray for the movement, share it with others in your network, or simply stay in touch through our prayer commitment list. Visit our Get Involved page for each option.

Does GGA accept individual donations?

[GGA is not a fundraising organization. Donations to specific generosity initiatives are typically directed through the four founding member organizations, each of which has its own giving infrastructure. If you are exploring catalytic investment in this movement, we'd welcome a conversation directly.]
